Engineering and
industrial fabrication

From engineering to fabrication and final assembly, Schwartz Hautmont manages every stage as one integrated process, keeping technical control, quality and traceability close to the project.

Engineering

In-house engineering provides full technical control from the first design stage through to fabrication, documentation and final delivery.

The engineering team covers the full technical scope of each project, including basic and detail design, fabrication drawings, welding procedure qualification and as-built documentation, across all product lines and materials handled by Schwartz Hautmont.

Through VOMPS, engineering is connected in real time with procurement, logistics, EHS, quality and the workshop, ensuring that technical decisions remain fully traceable throughout the project. This integrated approach keeps responsibility close to the teams that design, build and document each component.

Fabrication

Fabrication starts at the design stage, with engineering, quality and production working as one integrated process from first drawings to final delivery.

All manufacturing is carried out in-house under ISO, ASME and EN 1090-1 EXC4 frameworks.

VOMPS connects engineering, procurement, logistics, quality and the workshop in real time, ensuring full traceability of materials, welding records, inspections and documentation. From material procurement and workshop planning to final preparation for transport, each stage is controlled, documented and adapted to the technical requirements of the project.

Assembly

Transport and final assembly are considered from the design stage, avoiding logistical and lifting constraints later in the project.

Our assembly capabilities cover the full project lifecycle, from workshop assembly and transport to final installation at the client's site.

Installation can be carried out by Schwartz Hautmont's technical teams or by the client, depending on the delivery model and project requirements. In both cases, the process is supported by the same technical control, documentation and traceability applied throughout fabrication.

Digital strategy and transformation

Digitalisation serves a clear purpose: connecting people, processes and information to improve control, traceability and adaptability throughout every project.

VOMPS, our proprietary ERP, connects engineering, purchasing, logistics, EHS, quality and the workshops in real time, providing a continuous view of each project from design to delivery.

It is complemented by specialist tools for planning, calculation, drawing and 3D modelling, allowing each discipline to work within an integrated digital environment. In the workshop, this traceability continues down to component level, where each manufactured part is physically identified and linked to its documentation.
